  • — 30 Aug, 2010

Register for the Mammoth Lakes Foundation’s Golf Classic before Sept. 1 and cash in on early bird pricing. The tournament takes place on Sept. 12 and if you secure your spot before Sept. 1 pricing is $100 for individuals and $400 for foursomes. After Sept. 1, individual registration is $125 and foursomes are $500.

The event was started in 2000 and benefits higher education in the Eastern Sierra. Highlights for this year include four player scramble format, closest to the pin on all par threes, $5,000 putting contest, hole-in-one award, raffle, and silent auction. New this year is the Super Ticket raffle with a grand prize of seven nights’ accommodations in Belize donated by Jeff and Denise Boucher. Super Tickets are just $25 per entry, which also includes one “tee shot” mulligan and five regular raffle tickets. Only one Super Ticket will be sold per person so the odds of winning are outstanding.
