“Party in Pink” Zumbathon

Adopt a dog, cat from Inyo

The Inyo County Animal Shelter in Big Pine, has lots of great dogs of all sizes and all ages that need loving homes. Foster parents, the Shelter is also looking for good foster homes as well.

Bid adieu to this season’s flu

Flu vaccine is recommended for everyone over the age of six months. FluMist nasal spray is available for healthy 2-18 year olds.

Pneumococcal vaccine will be available. Cost: free with Medicare Part B card; otherwise $66. Cost for Flu vaccine: $10 for adults, $2 for children (6 months to age 18), and free with Medicare Part “B.” Children may also receive flu vaccine at school clinics this fall.
