Mammoth style proposal and a big yes

Newport Beach resident Mike Lytle proposed Mammoth style to Costa Mesa resident Whitney Randall this past weekend while snowboarding at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area.

Wanting to show her a better view, Mike, an Orange County fireman, took Whitney,  a hair stylist, to the top of one of the more advanced runs. When the  couple walked outside the lift building, Whitney thought it was so cute that a table and chairs were set up with champagne and roses. Not thinking it was for her Mike walked Whitney to the most advantageous view point, dropped to one knee and commenced his speech about how much he loved her, pulled out an engagement ring and asked Whitney to marry him, whereupon she said, “Yes!”

“The Ski Area here has been so accommodating and amazing. They helped Mike set the whole event up and have been congratulating us everywhere we go,” Whitney commented. “This is a girl’s dream come true! Dream man. Dream ring. Dream proposal. I am so blessed!”
