Easter mania

Dannalyn Lucero at last Sunday’s community Easter Egg hunt in Crowley Lake.

The Village at Mammoth held an egg hunt of its own. See Geisel’s description below.

Parents, if you’ve ever been to one, nothing can prepare you for the sheer joy, anticipation, frenzy, mayhem and (frankly) unbridled carnage that is part of the Village Easter Egg Hunt each year. Divided up into three age groups, parents and eager kids waited until the countdown reached zero this past Sunday morning (weather: perfect), before tearing off for a share of the 5,000 eggs hidden in the Village Pond area. It’s usually all a memory in about five minutes. Hopefully the Village will see this kind of foot traffic this spring!
