Miss Bishop Paiute Tribe

Bishop Union High School sophomore Sabrina Stone, this year’s Miss Bishop Paiute Tribe, added some regal atmosphere as one of the entries in this year’s Bishop Christmas Parade, held on Dec. 8. Stone was sworn in at the Bishop Tribal Chambers in late November, after being vetted and appointed by Tribal Council. The title has been won either by appointment or pageant since 1993. Stone will represent the Tribe at local, state and national tribal and cultural events, and will participate in a community service project focusing on a reading program for tribal youth.
