MUSD Superintendent
Lois Klein

Mammoth Unified School Board announced this week the hiring of Ms. Lois Klein as the new Superintendent. Ms. Klein comes to MUSD from the Bonita Unified School District in San Dimas, CA, where she has served as Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services.

Ms. Klein is an experienced educator, who has held positions of Teacher, Assistant Principal, Principal, District Director and most, recently, Assistant Superintendent, a position she has held for the last six years. Ms. Klein is familiar with the Eastern Sierra, as she and her family have made June Lake their “home away from home” for many years. She, and her husband, Christopher, are looking forward to calling the Eastern Sierra their permanent home. Ms. Klein will begin her duties as MUSD Superintendent on July 1.
