National Go Skate Day
Steve Klassen welcomes the masses with free stuff.

Friday, June 21 was National Go Skate Day and Wave Rave owner Steve Klassen (pictured) kicked it off right. Doors opened at 9 a.m. and Wave Rave gave away 50 shop decks to the first 50 customers there. At least 100 people were waiting by 8 a.m. A free raffle with products like full complete skate boards, hats, t-shirts was also held. At the skate park there was barbecuing and the longest skate session of the year with Shane Goodman, Daniel Salazar and many others destroying the skate park all day.
