Final Huskies home football game, Friday

On Friday, Oct. 25 the Mammoth Huskies dropped back to 6th place in the Desert Mountain League after their 14-24 loss to Vasquez.  The Huskies led the game at the half and they were tied going into the 4th quarter, however the Mustangs were able to put 10 points on the board in the 4th and that was that.
The Huskies leading rushers were Dennis Orrick who ran 16 times for 85 yards and a touchdown. Steven Orrick carried 9 times for 55 yeards, Nate Liueg rushed 4 times for 14 yards and Matt Graef had 2 carries for 4 yards. The Huskies rushed for a total 158 yards.
Top receivers for the Huskies were Matt Graef who caught 2 balls for 60 yards and a touchdown and Alex Mueller hauled in 2 Underkoffler passes for 32 yards. Cody Underkoffler, Steve Orrick, Dennis O and Ricky Cuellar all caught a pass each.
The Huskies are preparing for their final home game of the year this Friday, Nov. 1  in Mammoth at 7 p.m. Bring a shovel!
