New groomers

Krista Maxson has been hired to fill the shoes of the late Cary Shibley at Spoiled Rotten Pet Salon. Krista, pictured here with fiancee Erik Radatz (yes, Sox fans, he is related to former Red Sox closer Dick “The Monster” Radatz) hails from La Jolla, and has five years pet grooming experience. She saw the job listed at www.petgroomer.com and jumped at the opportunity to live in the Eastern Sierra (her family traditionally camped at Rock Creek when she was a kid). Fiancee Erik said he’s more of a beach person, but then, Krista trumps the beach. Spoiled Rotten is open Tuesday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call for an appointment at 760.934.1646. Prices range depending upon breed, coat and condition, but for comparison’s sake, Krista said your basic kitty bath and a haircut goes for about $45. (Photo: Lunch)
