Rosnau resigns from June Lake CAC
The June Lake Citizens Advisory Committee will hold an election next week to fill the seat left vacant by the recent resignation of Chair Dean Rosnau.
In a short statement sent out earlier this week, Rosnau blamed the resignation on a lack of work locally, which he said has meant having to take work out of town. Rosnau said the situation will result in his missing at least the next four meetings.
“It’s just not right for me to be a part of this panel, with important things to be involved in, and not be there consistently,” Rosnau said. “I’m not happy about resigning, butĀ feel that in these circumstances, it is my only option.”
Elections will be held as part of the CAC regular meeting on April 6, at 7 p.m. in the Community Center. (Note: a special meeting on the June Lake Area Plan is scheduled the previous day, April 5, at 6 p.m., also in the Community Center.)
