Head injury cause of Bluffs driver’s death
Autopsy results have indicated that Kevin Scott Green, the 30-year-old Summerland, Calif. resident that was found pinned under his truck on Nov. 23, died from a major head injury sustained at the time of the accident. Green had been found pinned under a single, green Toyota Tacoma truck 100 feet down the embankment off the roadway on Le Verne and Fir streets in the Bluffs in Mammoth Lakes. Due to the terrain, deep snow, and weather conditions, MLPD requested the help of Mammoth Lakes Fire Department and Mono County Paramedics.
According to an earlier press release from the MLPD, the last time Green was seen alive was late Saturday evening (Nov. 20). It is speculated that sometime late Saturday or early Sunday, during heavy snow conditions, he missed the 90 degree turn and drove off the roadway. At the time his body was discovered, it appeared that he’d been deceased for many hours. –MLPD/MCSD/Sheet
