Thai Thai Restaurant in Bishop hosted the most recent high school photography contest in Bishop. Senior Winners were: 1.) Florence Stone 2.) Timothy McMullen. 3.) Nick Potter. Among underclassemen, winners were: 1.) Madison Morgenstein 2.) Madison Taylor 3.) Tony Profita.

Thai Thai owner Weng-Cheong Lim provided the food for the event and also donated hundreds of dollars in gift certificates for prizes.

Photography teacher Shannon Carroll, who earned a degree in Inustrial Design from Long Beach State, told The Sheet that she currently has 65 students in 4 classes. This is the 7th year they’ve held the contest, but the first year it’s been sponsored by Thai Thai.

BUHS is unusual in that it has both a traditional (wet) darkroom as well as a digital darkroom.
