This year’s annual Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra Island Extravaganza goes Cajun, including live music by the hit band Gator Beat! This year’s fundraiser takes place Saturday Dec. 8, at Canyon Lodge starting at 6 p.m.
“For every $75 we raise, we can give an adaptive ski or snowboard lesson scholarship to a student,” DSES Director Kathy Copeland enthused.”This event ensures that we can provide adaptive programs to anyone who needs them. We never say no because someone is short of money!”
DSES’s cajun-flavored evening comes complete with dinner, live music, raffle and silent auction.
Tix: $65, raffle tix $5 each, available at the Booky Joint, DSES Second Chance Thrift Shop in Mammoth, the DSES office at MMSA or online at www.disabledsportseasternsierra.org.
